Apple-picking at NTA Farm

NTA Farm is a tourist orchard in Northern Nagano with English-speaking guides. Just a short walk from Iiyama Station, one of the stations along the Hokuriku Shinkansen line, it is easily accessible and a convenient stop on the way to other destinations such as Nozawa Onsen, Toyama or Kanazawa.
During the apple-picking season, English-speaking guides will help you pick apples and tell you about the area of Iiyama and its sights.
You can also candy or juice the apples you pick for an additional fee.
Please note that English-speaking guides only available for groups of 8 or more with prior reservation. Groups of 7 or less accompanied by Japanese-speaking guides (no reservation required.)

By Train: From Nagano Station, take the local Iiyama line train (47 min., 590 yen) or Hokuriku Shinkansen (11 min., 1,390 yen) to Iiyama Station. It is then a 7-minute walk from the station to the orchard. |
