The smallest of the Nishina Three Lakes.
In spring, it is a famous spot for cherry blossoms, with wild mountain cherry trees blooming along the lakeside.
The lake is rich in fish and attracts many anglers, who also enjoy ice fishing in winter.
When the wind is calm, the clear surface of the lake reflects the beautiful scenery like a mirror.
