Festival Ueda Sanada

Ueda City’s annual festival in honor of its Sanada Clan samurai history. Located around the historical Ueda Castle and the city’s central shopping district, the festival features a procession of 400 people dressed in period costumes, a feudal-era rifle firing demonstration, a 100-person taiko drum performance and more.
