Choshozenji Temple in a rural area of Ueda City has a history that dates back to 1377. Several times a year, the temple offers overnight programs including zazen meditation and other traditional Buddhist rituals. The meals are served vegetarian Shojin style and featuring all natural organic food and using home-made soy sauce. During the program, guests immerse themselves in self-reflection. (Japanese only)
